Afghan Association of Victoria (AAV) is a non-profit community organization created in 2015 by the Afghan’s of northern metropolitan Melbourne. AAV committed to providing Afghans located in northern metropolitan Melbourne with services and events to help them maintain the Afghan culture, give them more connection with their culture and values, and present Afghan culture for other communities. For instance, AAV holds and runs educational sessions and programs for Afghan men, women, and children. AAV holds Afghan cultural events serval time every year and invite other communities and present our cultural events.
With a dedicated team of expert staff and volunteers, we support the refugee community across northern metropolitan Melbourne.

Afghan Association of Victoria provides a variety of services for adults and children in the community, including a Saturday school where classes range from Dari to maths and English. We also provide support for teenagers who are living in Melbourne alone and adults who have a range of issues, including:
